Objectives of the Course:
To learn the principles and define certain rules, operating procedures and practices to attain the minimum requirements for quality and integrity of the work and data generated by a particular laboratory.
Who should attend:
Laboratory staff or personnel of Quality Assurance main laboratories, Production off-line laboratories, Engineering industrial service and wastewater treatment plant laboratories or any other personnel who conducts laboratory analyses but not limited to the following:

Noel F. Paje
Noel F. Paje is a graduate of B.S. Biology, Major in Microbiology from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños. He has also a Master of Science degree in Microbiology, Major in Food Microbiology, and Minor in Food Science, also from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños.
His first employment was in the government, at the Institute of Food Science and Technology, University of the Philippines at Los Banos, and where he worked as a Science Research Assistant for 5 years. He has undergone a 6-month training on microbial enzymes technology course at the Osaka Municipal Technical Research Institute, Osaka, Japan. Then he spent another 2 years as a Science Research Specialist at the National Institutes of Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology, also at the University of the Philippines at Los Banos.
His first private employer was a milk company, Holland Milk Products, Inc. where he served as the Quality Control/Microbiology/Sanitation Department Head for 3 years. He was first employed in Nestle Cabuyao Factory in 1987 as the Factory Hygienist and he was the first SGA/Quality Circles coordinator of the factory. He became the Corporate Hygiene Officer of Nestle Philippines, Inc. in 1989. He was transferred to Nestle Cagayan De Oro Factory in 1991 to assume the position of Quality Assurance Manager where he started to organize SGAs in the factory thru the Quality Development Team which he also headed.
In 1994, he was appointed full-time Quality Management Representative of Nestle Cagayan De Oro Factory and worked on the ISO 9002 Certification of the factory. Complete ISO 9002 certification of the whole Nestle Cagayan De Oro Factory was granted on May 30, 1996. It was also in 1994 that he was given a concurrent position as Corporate Quality Development Manager under then the Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Services Department of the Technical Division. As Corporate Quality Development Manager, his main function was to assist factories and other work locations in developing and standardizing our approach towards the implementation of the non-technical aspects of the Nestle Quality System, which include
basic training of employees regarding quality awareness and motivational elements for quality improvement such as Small Group Activities. He coordinated and gave assistance to SGAs/Quality Circles and other quality-directed employee involvement activities company-wide thru the Corporate Quality Development Core Group which is composed of members coming from the factories, Finance and Control Division, and Marketing and Sales Division.
He was finally transferred to Nestle’s Makati Administrative Office in June 1996 and led the Corporate Quality Development Core Group until January 1997. He has a brief a stint as Quality Systems Manager in the Quality Management Department of the Technical Division, Nestle Philippines Inc., and served for four years as Corporate Quality Audit Manager of the same department. Then he was given the position of Quality Assurance Manager of Nestle Pulilan Factory from July 2000 to March 31, 2003. After 17 years stint with Nestle, he was taken in by Edward Keller Philippines Inc. as Quality Assurance Manager of the Business Unit Performance Materials from September 1, 2003, to April 30, 2008. He is a Food Safety Consultant and Facilitator for Aguila Group of Companies Development Corporation since May 2008. He is a Vice President for Business Development and Technical Services of Sterix Incorporated and OneSource Facility Services Corp. from January 14, 2009, to August 15, 2010. Quality Director of Morning Star Milling Corporation September 1, 2010, to February 17, 2014. He is the National Accounts Operations Manager and full-time consultant for Technical Services at Sterix Inc. managing IPM accounts of all B-Meg Feed Mill Plants. He also handled 22 Coca-Cola Bottling Plants, 44 Coca Cola
Warehouse/DCs and 3 Coca-Cola Offices prior to his assignments for B-Meg accounts.
He has a strong background in product research and development, food processing, quality management systems, internal quality audits, and training in quality development activities.
